Lightning Junior Academy - Producing Players Since 1996
An alternative to traveling, Lightning Soccer Club’s Junior Academy Programs offer licensed professional training without the travel commitment. These Academy Programs use small sided games to offer another option for the non-traveling player/family. These Professionally designed and instructed sessions are customized to meet the specific needs of the participants enrolled in them. Boys and girls may be mixed as players are grouped by ability.

Direction and Staff separate Lightning’s Junior Academy Programs from Competitors
Nick Trotter is the Club’s Youth Coordinator and has been a member of the Academy Staff for 4 years. He received his USSF “C” license with Honors (2005), National Youth License (2005), and has attended many National Youth Soccer Conventions and Clinics. Nick has 9 years of youth coaching experience. He is currently an Olympic Development Program (ODP) Staff coach and works with many traveling teams within Lightning SC.
